On January 7, 2009 Bob Wilkins Passed away. For someone of my generation growing up in the Bay Area Bob had a profound impact on my exposure to film. Whether it was running home to see the next episode of Space Giants on Captain Cosmic or staying up late to watch Christopher Lee on Creature Features. Growing up in a small rural town these shows were a responsible for expanding my idea of what film can be. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Bob Wilkins his impact on my life has been immeasurable. Bob will be missed. I just got this in from Daniel de la Vega about his new film Death Knows Your Name. First I have to say Congratulations Daniel. It looks like you cleaned out the festival. I looking forward to seeing this film and I'll let you all know if this is the real deal. One things for sure, Argentinians can sure pack a film into a tiny budget.
"Death Knows Your Name" obtuvo los siguientes premios, en el TABLOID WITCH AWARDS
- Best Horror Feature Film A Lovecraftian sense of inevitable doom permeates Daniel de la Vega's Death Knows Your Name (one hour, 29 minutes). This moody, murky supernatural film was shot in Argentina for only $15,000 (US dollars). It opens with a psychiatrist Bruce Taylor (Rodrigo Aragón) haunted by mysterious nightmares -- which are shared by a patient (Kevin Schiele). When Taylor unearths a skeleton buried in an abandoned wing of the asylum, a plague is unleashed and the mystery deepens.
- Best Supporting Actor .... Kevin Schiele Nor does any supporting actor come close to Kevin Schiele's performance as the possessed and insane patient in Death Knows Your Name. His screen presence is powerful, riveting, and compelling. We watch even when we want to turn away. He wins Best Supporting Actor with ease.
- Best Sound Jimmy Crispin (aka Juan Pablo Olguin) mixes layers of ghostly whispers and ominous music to create an eerie atmosphere of impending doom, earning him Best Sound for Death Knows Your Name .
- Best Make-Up Effects No photo can convey the visceral shock you'll feel upon seeing that thing emerge from Melissa (Veronica Mari)'s womb in Death Knows Your Name. And it was all done without CGI. Simon Ratziel earned his Best Make-Up Effects win. Los saluda atte. Daniel de la Vega www.danieldelavega.com.ar deathknowsyourname.blogspot.com/

Reality shows aren't usually the Fearless Tales thing but this one is different in all the good ways. Unspoken love is the Love Connection for the kinky. Its the Elimi-Dated for the fetistist. Its The Bachelor for the furries. Now, I know YOU'RE not a fetishist. But maybe you know someone who knows someone who knows someone who is? In case your wondering if this is for real or just some cheap attempt at getting some kinky porn, I can assure you this is for real. I know the producers of this and they are very serious about this project. Read on for more info.

Fearless Tales is currently working on projects to better serve you. But before we get to far on these we want to make sure we are giving you what you want and need. So, we have 2 surveys that we ask you to fill out. One for Filmmakers and one for Film Audience. Please fill out each that applies to you. We'd apreciate it if you'd pass this on to your friends as well. The more people who fill this out, the better we can serve you!
As a small token of our appreciation we will have a drawing with a prize of $20 for each of the two polls. Its not much but hey its still 20 bucks! To be entered in the drawing you must complete the poll.
Here are the links.
